JW Winco’s nuts with hygienic design

New Berlin, Wisconsin – JW Winco Inc. now has available GN 1580 nuts with hygienic design. The GN 1580 stainless steel nuts are certified according to European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group guidelines, making them ideal for use in hygienic areas.

Featuring a sealed flange surface so components can be mounted without dead spaces, the nuts have large corner radii and closed surfaces, preventing adherence of dirt. Available in either a matte or polished finish, the FDA-compliant sealing ring on the nuts is made of a hydrogenated acrylonitrile Butadiene rubber and is temperature resistant from -25°C (-13°F) to 150°C (302°F).
